I tested it hook
An "I tested it" hook promises the result of an experiment the creator ran, such as one habit every day for 30 days. It works because the viewer gets the conclusion without doing the work, and the reveal gives them a reason to stay until the end.
How it works
Name the test, the duration and the question you wanted answered. Keep it small and repeatable so the viewer can imagine trying it.
Show the evidence: photos from day one and the last day, a log, a before-and-after measurement. Report the honest result, including when it did not work; a mixed result is more believable than a perfect one.
Works best for
- Product reviews and comparisons
- Habits, routines and challenges
- Food, fitness, finance and productivity
